We want you to feel comfortable during your visit with us. Here's
what you can expect on Sunday morning, at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church:
When you arrive at EPC on a Sunday morning, greeters at the door
will welcome you, and give you a bulletin. The bulletin contains the
order of service, hymns to be sung, and announcements of activities and
meetings for the coming week or two. If you have any questions, they
will be happy to help you.
There is nursery care available for infants and toddlers. Children
of preschool age and older attend the beginning of the service, and
then are excused for Sunday school before the sermon.
Details of what to expect during the worship service itself are available HERE.
During each service there is a special Time for the Young. The
younger children are invited up front to sit and listen to something
special just for them. Sometimes they have an opportunity to
contribute, if they want to. This could be a mini sermon, a book, or
story by a storyteller.
After the service there is a fellowship time, and coffee, juice and
cookies are served. It is a time to welcome new faces and visit with
friends.
The first Sunday of the month is Communion Sunday. All are welcome
to partake if they believe in Christ as their Savior. You don't need to
be a member of our church or denomination.
Dress at Emmanuel ranges anywhere from jeans & T-shirts to suits or dresses. Please wear what is comfortable to you.
Our building is wheel chair accessible, and fully ADA compliant.
Please contact the church office by phone or email, if you have any other questions.
