Every year in January we mark the chartering of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church of Bothell.  2018 is our 54th anniversary.  Observing this anniversary offers us an opportunity to think about our identity and purpose as a congregation.  During January the sermons will be dedicated to this work.  Using Hebrews 10:19-25 and other selected texts as a foundation, we’ll be unpacking the implications of our mission statement which declares our intention to be a congregation that lives in and reflects the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, provides a hospitable refuge for both those who worship here and those who are our neighbors, and reaches out in the love of Christ to our world through acts of service to others.
