February 2020 Sermon Series

The Psalms are an endless resource for the Christian life.  Whatever the feeling, whatever the struggle, it has likely already been named by a psalmist.  And not only named but brought into conversation with the living God who is present in all the seasons, moments, and ups and downs of life.  The Psalms are meant to be prayed, to be sung, to be woven into our hearts and minds and faith so that they might be resources for our journey of faith as we go about our day.

Over the following four weeks, we will look at the themes of pilgrimage, lament, refuge and encouragement found throughout the Psalms.  Looking to the them to give voice to our own journey and to help us encounter God who meets us wherever we are along the road.
