Every so often we need to come away from the work of being the church of Jesus Christ in the world and remind ourselves who we are and why we do what we do. We need to do the work of reflection that will enable us to continue to take action. We have to pause to remember the journey behind us and listen for God’s invitations concerning what might be ahead of us. This sermon series is an opportunity to think together about what means to be that particular household of faith known as Emmanuel Presbyterian Church and to listen for what God might be saying to us about the journey ahead of us.
