The chorus of the hymn “Ancient Words” sets a good context for our post-Easter sermon series: “Ancient words, ever true, changing me, changing you.  We have come with open hearts; let the ancient words impart.”  In spite of their age, the first eleven chapters of Genesis still have much to teach us.  While they may be denigrated as myth by the modern world, the truths to which they give witness endure.  In this six week series we will explore the enduring truths of these texts and allow them to speak wisdom that is still relevant in the hearts of those who possess a modern mind.
