Week 1

The advent of Emmanuel Farm begs us to read Wendell Berry.  This organic farmer, novelist, essayist, poet and follower of Jesus never ceases to lay before us an invitation to think about the ideas and philosophies that give shape to our lives.  In Life is a Miracle, Berry enters the dialogue between faith and science through a literary critique of Edmund O. Wilson’s book Consilience.
