Folks at Emmanuel really value creating spaces for people to experience belonging. Fellowship events play a major role in that endeavor. Belonging is at the heart of the good news as we see Jesus welcome the huge crowds of people and then feed them (Matthew 14:13-21). When we gather, we seek to nourish one another with encouragement as we build up one another and also bear one another’s burdens. Some of the ways that we do this are:

  • Sunday morning following worship we enjoy time together. People linger over coffee and snacks to share life with one another. This is also an opportunity to overlap with Blessing Church, the Korean Presbyterian church that meets in our building at 1pm.

  • Women’s Fellowship, also known as the Lady Birds, meets in the narthex on the first Saturday of every month at 9am for conversation and prayers. Bring your own travel mug coffee.

  • Men’s Breakfast meets on the second Saturday of each month for good food and relaxed conversation around tables.

  • Community Groups gather to grow in faith, to grow in relationship, and to share life with one another throughout the year. Check our GROWTH page for current opportunities.

  • Annual Church BBQ after outdoor Sunday worship (usually around the end of July / beginning of August)

  • Maundy Thursday meal and service the Thursday before Easter

  • Check out the calendar for information about current fellowship events.
